Our Story
Scott and Joe moved to Nyack knowing they’d found somewhere truly special. In 2021, they took a leap and bought the neighborhood cheese shop — a move that turned their love of food, community, and each other into something rich, joyful, and very, very cheesy.
Scott brings over 15 years of experience as a professional event planner, communications expert, and fundraiser, which basically means he knows how to throw a party, tell a great story, and make sure there’s always enough wine. He’s the creative force behind everything from the cheese pairings to the punchlines.
Joe, owner of Creative Arts Workshop and longtime arts educator, is Scott’s husband, business partner, and forever muse. He’s the one who will lovingly suggest, “Let’s just get them all,” when faced with too many brie options.
Together, they’ve built a life filled with flavor, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling of belonging where food tells a story, wine flows freely, and everyone feels safe.
