Are you in a winter slump too?

I don’t know about you, but I am officially in a winter slump. As I write this, it feels like it’s January the 43rd, the sun hasn’t come out in days, Michael and I were sick (sometimes sick in bed) for a week+, and I’m just finding it hard to find a little joy.

I was worried that sending this might make me seem like I’m whining. I of course know how bountiful with blessings my life actually is – hell I lost six pounds while I was sick – wa-hoo(!) – but then I decided I can’t be the only one feeling this way, and that maybe if I wrote this all down and shared with you all, that someone would feel a tiny bit better knowing they aren’t alone in these feelings, and feel validated, which is really all we’re all looking for anyway.

Winter can be rough. Spring will come.

That’s it.

I have no advice on how to get over it.

Well some: maybe eat some cheese.

xoxo,
Scott
